Sara, Good luck with the new gig!
Today I had a plan, which was possibly variable, and I’ve done that. My original plan was to head to the cheap and rarely open antique store before meeting the woman who I hope will stitch the fabric I’ll use as a stair runner. The fabric is a bolt end of light weight upholstery fabric I got at the local high end fabric shop. I want her to stitch it such that the two sides are folded into the middle, making it 1/2 as wide. Then I’ll make a runner out of it. My sewing machine could handle the heft of the fabric, but not the width. . .
I fiddled around too much and missing my window for going to the antique store, either I’ll go later this week, or I won’t. Either way, not buying more stuff won’t hurt me!
I also need to go to the booth and settle up or get a check for the last rent period (they run on 2 week increments). Unless things changed drastically, I’m likely to owe them $, alas.
Also need to go to the bank and deposit the check from the last period. I thought DH had done that, but the check is still in his wallet.
Also get bread from the market, although we should make it, we have 10 lbs of flour in the kitchen. I’ll have about 50 before Christmas, then 40 after that, which we’ll run out of around Mar/April, if we make bread. . . We give the neighbors bread for Christmas, uses 10-15 lbs of flour every year.
I’m off to start a load of laundry before I go, put my cup in the sink, etc.
Have a good day everyone!
