Oh Heaven! Sorry!! My vitamin D is about as low as it gets! ....I forget to take my supplement too!
Diabetes.....well my dad has had it many years and always ate how he wanted and yes, his numbers were sky high, even on meds! Hubby was diagnosed a few years ago. We went to see the dietician that the dr recommended ( insurance paid it!) went to see her a few times and I calculated everything hubby ate for a long time, well still do but a lot of stuff I just know in my head now.! He lost a little weight. Was walking most days, lately not but trying to get back at it. His blood test have been in the normal range since about 6 months after diagnosis. No meds....just food, weight loss and a little bit of exercise. Cutting carbs and upping protein and veggies is what works for him. Of all the diseases you can have, the dietician told us this is one of the best because you can control it. Dr told him once you have diabetes you always have it but to look at his numbers now he does not test in a diabetic range.
It is a hurdle....you can get over it! I know you can!
