Oh wow. Miranda just went and saw Wonder at the movies with her class last week. She also read the book (Ally did, too.)
I forgot to post before work. oops. I was sleepy and running late. Was not too busy at work today, but I did some funeral pieces. I took a couple of photos. LOL They are potato quality, but oh well.
We’ve been playing games with the kiddos, too. I’m horrible at them, so it always means everyone is laughing at me. LOL
Here’s a ridiculous story…
Last night, Gabe handed me the remote. Understand that this rarely happens. LOL Not because he’s a remote hog, but because I can barely see the descriptions of the shows and take forever picking and will often start something and change it and it’s easier for Gabe to scroll through, read them off and then if I start saying how I’m not sure I like it, he will say give it ten more minutes and then I am usually settled into watching it. LOL
So he hands me the remote, and I see the show “The Fives” and I want to watch it, but Matt is on the couch and it’s not really age-appropriate, so I skip over that show and there’s a cartoon. I put the cartoon on and it opens up to like a wilderness scene. Suddenly it’s animals mating and I try to stop the streaming and am using the PS controller and I hit the wrong button and it forwards and it’s a different set of animals mating. At this point, I start laughing uncontrollably. I mean I just couldn’t stop. Matt says dad, mom can’t stop laughing. I finally hand the remote to Gabe to just shut this cartoon off! Then Matt says, mom, this is why dad always has the remote! LOL I had to walk away because I was laughing to where I could barely breathe. Now what made me laugh was not just the fact that cartoon animals were mating, but Matt’s face as he glanced up and he just shook his head. LOL It was just so hilarious.
