Sold our old Dutch oven. We’ve sold every major piece I had in the booth the past 2 weeks. The $ goes against the equity loan, which is unfortunately a variable rate thing, makes me nervous. Determined to pay it off in as little time as we can. Still have the 3 high-end pieces to sell for this a dresser, telescope, and a marble table. The way things are selling I need to get some of them into the booth before Christmas!
The three high-end pieces were to help pay for our back roof, what the loan was for, in part. Because of the issues which still exist in the roof, I’m figuring we’ll have to do another 5k loan (the smallest amount we can borrow this way) next spring to get another roofer to fix the problems… sigh. If we’re lucky, a may have a little of that money left do something else, like the entry or landscaping or…
There’s a local swap services program. I need to investigate if they need writers or photographers. If so, maybe we can swap some services. Never done that, but in theory, it’s possible.
The first of December? All I’m seeing is all the things I wanted to get done this year (and didn’t) and a lot of things I’d like to buy, and all the $ I want to pay off — all at once.
Today I have to take things to the thrift shop for consignment, and maybe buy yarn at the going out yarn shop. Aside from that, I need to start the tax gather. I’m determined to have all the info to our tax person as soon as Jan 2, except for the forms from others, over which I have no control.
Also, need dh’s help to get to the Christmas stuff in the attic…
