Just finished Pork Carnitas ( found on Pinterest from give me some oven blog). I used a 1 lb port tenderloin instead of. 4-5 lb pork roast and cut it down accordingly. Cooked in my 2 quart crockpot. Browned the meat first in hot pan, cooked in crockpot with spices, onion, beer until tender then shredded and poped under broiler for 5 mins drizzled with some of the broth from slow cooker and back under broiler then drizzled with more broth and tossed. It smells really good ( this is coming from a vegetarian). Getting all the veggies chopped so hubby can fix pork tacos for him and father in law tonight while I get my haircur!!
I just have to laugh ( so I don't get irritated) that when I have stuff prepared like this but hubby warms it and dishes it up he acts like he "cooked dinner"
It is a big help, yes, I will take what I get!
