TallyHo...I can't use those lotioned tissues either. I can't tell you how many times I've said, "Why would you buy those???" I feel your pain.
It would be hard for me to think of anything that was particularly frugal today. However, as I wrote in my personal goals, I gave DH cash from my MacBook fund for him to use on the meals for he and DS while they are at the hockey tournament so they don't run up the credit card bill. They are still eating out, but they really don't have a choice, and this way, my CC doesn't go up and it's money I had put aside anyway. It will take me longer to get the MacBook, but that's a want, not a need.
Using all my coupons and coupon apps and digital ShopRite coupons helped me save a ton of money at the store today, and that also makes me happy.
Oh, and although it is spending...on a local FB garage sale board, a friend of mine was selling a Lego set that retails for $39 for $25. DS10's bday is in February and he is a Lego fanatic and I always get him the little sets, but this one was a bit bigger and I wanted to get one for him but was wary of the price. $25 seemed better, so I said I'd buy it. She said, "Since it's you, give me $15." Very sweet. Very happy. It's hidden away, now, until February.
